The Project includes the
expansion of the limited traffic zone
(ZTL), with connection to the “Bike Sharing” (bicycles for public use) junction points planned in Cirillo Square (Cathedral area, Convent of the Holy Spirit), Don Diana Square (City Hall) and Crispi Square.
The project aspires to achieve two interconnected goals :
- the strengthening and improvement of
mobility systems
by introducing an alternative soft mobility system (‘bike sharing’) an urban and environmental redevelopment. - The expansion of the ZTL, which today affects only Rome Street, invests contiguous streets, with the insertion of
street furniture elements
for parking and vehicular traffic control.
