Porta Nolana e Piazza Garibaldi EAV Stations

Naples

Anno: 2018

Client: EAV Ente Autonomo Volturno Srl

Location: Naples

Performance: projecting and construction management for Porta Nolana and Piazza Garibaldi EAV train stations.

Status: in progress

The project involves the
redevelopment of two stations
: Porta Nolana and Piazza Garibaldi.
For the Porta Nolana station, the project includes the reconfiguration of the forecourt in front of the station, the overall re-functionalization of the station interiors in accordance with the original design by architects De Luca and Marsiglia, and the construction of
new vertical connections for travelers
in order to reorganize the flow of users and to break down architectural barriers.
For the Piazza Garibaldi station, a change in the position of the elevators and transverse paths to mt- 4.98 is planned, as well as a
further extension
of platform 3 toward the exit of Via Galileo Ferraris.
This makes it possible to build an additional elevator that eliminates the problem of architectural barriers for the said exit as well.
