MANN, Naples’ National Archaeological Museum, is
Recognized as a “national” museum as early as 1860, today it boasts the richest and most valuable collection of works of art and artifacts of archaeological interest in Italy. In 1929, at the proposal of engineer Cozzi, the so-called “Braccio Nuovo” was built behind the building.
A first batch of intervention in 2016 is made by architect Capuozzo, Gnosis Progetti then completes the work and sets up the interior with a functional and contemporary language:

The restyling of the New Wing is an opportunity to create a food court hosting a gourmet restaurant, a self-service restaurant, and a bar.
The “common thread” is the
design of the suspended ceilings
: tongues of sheet-metal effect plasterboard punctuate the spaces at the structural mesh, emphasizing the score with an integrated lighting system.
