The green element is an important component in recreating a sense of place by reducing travel-induced stress, allows for noise pollution reduction, improved air quality, and increased airport brand reputation.

The desks were conceived as SEA brand identity elements, with a soft-edged design aimed at fostering the frontal relationship between operator and customer. The red side element constitutes a shelf at a lower elevation to ensure its use by disabled passengers.
